I was born in 1958 in Liverpool, England. My family have lived there for at least 4 generations but before that my ancestors came from Berkshire and Ireland.
I went to school at St. Francis Xavier's College, and followed this up with New College, Oxford where I somehow came away with a 1st in Physics in 1976!
I started a career in computing and worked at Logica, Chemical Bank (now Chase), Citibank, S.G. Warburg (now SBC Warburg) and J.P. Morgan (now also Chase). Since 1996 I've been working as a management consultant with Insight Change Management Ltd.
Prior to moving, I lived for 23 years in Balham. We decided to move as our first child was due and we wanted free babysitting from Debbie's folks!
In January 2004, we were joined by our baby son, Samuel George, or Sam for short.
